To quickly update your email address, follow these steps:


Via the OKX Mobile App

  1. Open the OKX mobile app and select Menu
    (Access the Menu page)
  2. Navigate to Profile & Settings, then select Security. Under Verification Methods, choose Email
  3. Select Change Email Address
  4. Enter your new email address in the New Email Address field
  5. Click Send Code in both the New Email Verification and Current Email Verification fields. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to both your current and new email addresses. Enter the provided codes.
  6. Input your two-factor authentication (2FA) code to proceed

    Note: Select Unable to Verify if you can't complete verification
    (Choose "Unable to Verify" at the bottom of the page)

  7. You'll receive a confirmation email at your new address once the change is successful

    Important: Withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after changing your email address


Via the OKX Website

  1. Log in to your account and go to Profile
  2. Locate Email Authentication and select it
  3. Enter your new email address in the New Email field
  4. Click Send Code for both New Email Verification and Current Email Verification. You'll receive 6-digit codes at both email addresses.
  5. Provide your 2FA code to continue

    Note: Select Unable to Verify if verification can't be completed

  6. A confirmation email will be sent to your new address upon success

    Restriction: Withdrawals remain unavailable for 24 hours post-update
