To quickly update your email address, follow these steps:
Via the OKX Mobile App
- Open the OKX mobile app and select Menu
(Access the Menu page) - Navigate to Profile & Settings, then select Security. Under Verification Methods, choose Email
- Select Change Email Address
- Enter your new email address in the New Email Address field
- Click Send Code in both the New Email Verification and Current Email Verification fields. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to both your current and new email addresses. Enter the provided codes.
Input your two-factor authentication (2FA) code to proceed
Note: Select Unable to Verify if you can't complete verification
(Choose "Unable to Verify" at the bottom of the page)You'll receive a confirmation email at your new address once the change is successful
Important: Withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after changing your email address
Via the OKX Website
- Log in to your account and go to Profile
- Locate Email Authentication and select it
- Enter your new email address in the New Email field
- Click Send Code for both New Email Verification and Current Email Verification. You'll receive 6-digit codes at both email addresses.
Provide your 2FA code to continue
Note: Select Unable to Verify if verification can't be completed
A confirmation email will be sent to your new address upon success
Restriction: Withdrawals remain unavailable for 24 hours post-update
