How to Create a Wallet?
Creating a wallet is simple and beginner-friendly. OKX Web3 Wallet supports three platforms: App, Web, and Extension.
Web/Extension
- Visit the OKX official website, navigate to the Web3 Wallet section, and click Connect Wallet.
- Download and install the OKX Web3 Wallet extension.
- Choose Create Wallet, set a password, and confirm.
- Back up your seed phrases securely (e.g., write them on paper). Warning: OKX does not store your seed phrases or private keys. Losing them means irreversible asset loss.
- Once backed up, your wallet is ready for use.
App
- Download the OKX official App, go to Web3 Wallet, and click Create Wallet.
- Set a password, then back up your seed phrases as instructed.
How to Import a Wallet?
If you already have a wallet, you can import it using seed phrases or a private key. Always manually enter these details—never copy-paste.

Wallet Management Features
Viewing/Backing Up Seed Phrases or Private Keys
- Go to Wallet Management in OKX Web3 Wallet.
Select Backup Wallet and choose between seed phrases or private keys.
- Seed phrases: One set manages assets across all 29 chains.
- Private keys: Chain-specific (e.g., Ethereum ≠ Solana).
Creating New Accounts
Under a single wallet (e.g., Wallet A), you can generate派生 accounts (e.g., Wallet A-Account 02). These accounts share the same seed phrases.
Note: Removing accounts requires resetting the entire wallet.
